New York - Union Square

Sorry for not updating my blog for a few days. Zue came to my house for a few days and we went to New York. Is just a day trip and we went to Union Square farmers market and also to Chinatown. We met up with beachlover and her cute daughter Mishu. Thank you beachlover for showing us around Chinatown. Wish we have more time. Maybe the next time :) Here are some of the random pictures we took.

Varieties of peppers
Purple bell peppers
Habanero peppers

Squash and pumpkins

Varieties of Heirloom tomatoes

Colourful flowers

Highlight of the day 'Giant Eggplant' held by Zuraida

Nice pictures, Gert. What a great way to spend a girls day out. Where are the veggies grown? Will pop over to Zue's blog. :)

Gert, the purple pepper is tasteless la.:-(
Worst than the green bell pepper though the purple has the same strong smell as the green.

Cat, wish you can join us. Can get to meet Lesley and Mishu. Yeah, Mishu is really cute. Gosh, I wish I can bring home all those colourful tomatoes.

Zue, we should stay there for a day the next time.

Zaza, we can get lots of fresh produce here. I too love shopping at farmers market.

Rita, we took hundreds of pics but just too many to load up. Will send you the link once I upload everything. Most of the fresh produce comes from N.Jersey.

Zue, I am surprised the purple pepper is tastless because it has such a strong pepper smell. Guess we better stick to the regular ones :)

Beachlover, it is good meeting up with you. We have to do this again :) Union Square sell lots of fresh product and handicraft and it not a flea market. You should go there with Mishu one day. It open on Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat. Saturday will be better because they sell more stuff there.

Sue, we took lots of pics there. Will load it up soon and give you the link. Can I have your e.mail address. Thanks

Envy, It is a nice way to spent Merdeka day with the girls.

Isha, we had loads of fun :)
