Winter Wonderland

Just as promised here are some pictures I took of our 4th winter storm of the season. We expected much more snow than this but at the very last minute the wind kind of change it directions and the shore line got more of it. Phew…. Thank God of that. I think God heard my prayers. Carlos is out of town so I have to shovel all by myself. Here are some pictures that I took to share it with you.

My poor car..all covered up in snow

Mr snowman wearing a thick coating of snow

All done!! Time for a cup of hot Milo ;)

Sometimes I wish that Malaysia will have snow, ahaha, but then it'll make the upper and lower hemisphere to be frozen hard. So, I'd rather not have snow here.

You did well at shoveling. I shovel buat syarat jer. My back hurt. Your pictures are beautiful. I like to see the bright white fluff on the trees. They look peaceful.

Yes, I heard from my boss who is in Asia now about another snow storm over the weekend. I don't like the cold but there is something very pristine and serene about snow covered surrounding...I think it muffles out all the din and makes one slow down and breathe...

We had some snow here too in Virginia but luckily only about an inch. Even that is too much for me!!!

Marine, thanks

Wendy, it's nice to look at when it just came down but after a day or two they turn black and dirty. Don't envy us too much. It is way too cold.

Daphne, yes Milo is good for cold weather :)

Zue, Carlos tak ada semalam so I have to shovel everything. Not that bad when it is fresh on the ground.

Jenn, yes all the shoveling, the slick after that.

Zoe & Mary, thanks.

Shirley, it does look beautiful when the snow is new and white. I have to take a few pictures of how it look like in a few days where it is brown and dirty ha ha...

Debbie, me too... an inch or two is ok. Hope this winter won't be like the last where we were pounded over 40" in 3 days period.

Reese, come and visit me during the next winter. Then you can with the snow :)

Thanks for sharing such beautiful pictures! I know everyone like snowing very much. For me, snowing for a day or two is OK but not for months. I think I'm going to go nuts. Imagine life in M'sia, we used to put on the slippers and go riding on a motorbike or bicycle and go round the town or anywhere we want at anytime. Go makan-makan & chat with neighbours even after 11pm! See, what I mean! haha...
Enjoy,
Kristy

so beautiful, it is so nice to look at photos with snow but in actual fact, I know not many people will like the cold and inconvinence that caused by snowing :)
