ReplyDeletenote to chiffonade: i don't think anyone in the universe can claim sole propietorship to any recipe...especially a "standard" like chicken wings!!!
one suggestion, try using the new reynolds NON-STICK aluminum foil...that way, the good crispy skin isn't left on the foil!
I use a teflon mat at the bottom, nothing sticks to it! I can't do without these anymore. They are easy to clean as well.
ReplyDeleteHumm, yummy!
And as chiffonnade is concerned, if he/she can only stick to one recipe, either she can't cook or she doesn't like food.
ReplyDeleteI really don't like it when my favorite blog is attacked :(
Your chicken looks positively glazed and ready to be devoured :)))
I love seeing different recipes because when you make your own, you adapt it to your own taste by taking bits of ideas here and there to make your own perfect dish!! Food is made to be messed with!!
Food for tots, it goes well with beer too :)
ReplyDeleteBBO, ha ha..
Zue, the next time you balik Malaysia try out the chicken wings at Jalan Alor. They are the best!
Marinav, the lemon zest in this dish give a nice aroma to it :)
Dav, thanks for the tips and support. Will get a roll of the non-stick foil. Actually Chiffonade is a troll that leave nasty comment to blogs.
Christelle, I didn't use the teflon mat as I thought it might not give a golden finish to the wings :) As for that crazy Chiffonade he is a troll. By the way a lot of blogs and forums ban him from posting comments :)
yummmm.. delicious! I havent had chicken wings for a long time.. this is a must try now.
ReplyDeleteI AM TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH ROASTED CHICKEN WINGS! If you try some turmeric + curry powder and some sambal chili as part of the rub next time.
