Maybe I can try it one day...

I lurrrrve Tean's Gourmet's prawn noodle soup premix!!! The grocer was out of it for several weeks and when the stock came, I bought half a dozen packets!

I know how to make prawn-noodle-soup from scratch but it's like a 3-hr chore compared to using the premix which is only about 45 min, and just as good :-)

YY.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36043957.post-55002234633712654802008-07-28T23:35:00.000-04:002008-07-28T23:35:00.000-04:00Lilian, I too like cooking my rendang from scratch...Lilian, I too like cooking my rendang from scratch but sometime its difficult to get all the fresh ingredients so I have to make do with the packet paste but I will normally add some extra spices like chili powder, kafir lime leaves, serai to it. By the way the brand of rendang paste is Delimas and Taste of Asia is the company that sell this product.ICook4Funhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02405825862798280769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36043957.post-3804818572175792692008-06-01T05:16:00.000-04:002008-06-01T05:16:00.000-04:00Your rendang looks sooo good. I cook beef rendang from scratch, which is rather troublesome (cos need Daun Salam, Daun Kunyit etc), so would definitely appreciate a tried and tested solid rendang paste! Can this brand Taste of Asia be found in Malaysia/Singapore?
