I'd...ah..... so these are what they are called. I'd bought them before at our local Japanese supermarket and used them to stuff with a fish paste-minced pork filling to make ampang yong tau foo. They are also served together with ebi tempura in some local Japanese restaurants like Waraku. Like what you'd said, they are milder and less fiery than our usual green chillies. Thanks for this recipe! Now I can use them to stir-fry with beef or pork instead of the usual ginger-spring onion combi!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36043957.post-1919542014267251592011-06-30T12:01:55.824-04:002011-06-30T12:01:55.824-04:00new to me..so does this taste like a green capsicu...new to me..so does this taste like a green capsicum?lenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16425536535768950935noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36043957.post-69105701444370864742011-06-30T09:24:16.221-04:002011-06-30T09:24:16.221-04:00Jeannie, yeap not hot at all.
